Over the past decade, 2XU has collaborated with leading research teams worldwide to scientifically validate the effectiveness of 2XU apparel. We utilize advanced technologies and equipment to conduct detailed tests on fabrics to ensure they meet the demands of athletic activity.
The effectiveness of our compression equipment relies on the fabric's tightness, durability, and progressive pressure. Each batch of compression fabric undergoes testing with an Instron tensile strength tester before production to assess its strength and resilience. Fabrics that do not meet our standards are reprocessed. Approved compression fabrics are then manufactured into finished products and tested on a Salzmann pressure measuring device to ensure their progressive pressure characteristics meet requirements. The Salzmann testing equipment is widely used internationally and is commonly used to test the performance of compression equipment.
